Hanoi will be raising basic land prices in areas around greater areas while keeping values for inner districts basically the same from the first day of next year.
The plan was approved by the municipal People’s Council last week.
Under revised land prices each sq.m of land in Ha Dong district and neighbouring Thanh Xuan district will be between 1 million VND and 15 million VND. Land value in Son Tay Town will be between 300,000 VND and 10 million per sq.m.
The basic land prices in other townships in the former Ha Tay province would be between 150,0000 VND and 8.04 million per sq.m.
The land prices in Me Linh district would be between 200,000 VND and 7.5 million VND per sq.m.
The price of land for non-agricultural production and business will be a maximum of 30 million VND per sq.m for inner district, excluding Hoang Mai and Long Bien; and 6.525 million VND per sq.m for Ha Dong district.
The basic price of agricultural land would be adjusted depending on location.
Le Van Hoat, head of Economy and Budget Department of the municipal People’s Council, said: “The basic land price at districts in former Hanoi will remain basically unchanged in 2009.”
The lowest rate for land in the inner parts of the capital is 2.5 million VND, the highest is 67 million per sq.m.
It would be between 1.5 million VND and 16 million VND per sq.m in towns and 150,000 and 2.25 million VND per sq.m in rural parts of Hanoi. |
