Particularly, statistics showed that out of 175 share codes and four fund certificates being listed on the southern bourse, STC witnessed 149 shares increased with 65 reaching the ceiling price, 10 others decreased with two falling to the floor price and 20 remaining shares stood still.

STB and PVF gained 700 dong to 16,500 dong and 16,600 dong per share respectively, DPM up 1,400 to 29,600 dong, PPC jumped 900 to 19,600, PVD bounced 2,500 to 56,500 and VIC bounded 1,700 dong to 37,000 dong per share along with VPL, VNM, HAG, HPG and FPT.

STB still led the market in trading volume with 3.11 million shares and followed by SSI with 1.28 million, DPM 1.04 million, VF1 with 1.05 million, HPG 850,000, PVT 640,000, PPC 620,000, VIP 600,000 and SAM with 590,000 shares changing hands.

Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HaSTC) today March 17 continued its increasing impetus as the HaSTC Index gained another 3.32 points or 3.68% to 93.57 pts with the total market trade of 14,947,800 shares worth nearly 269 billion dong.

Amongst 177 listed shares on the northern bourse, the stock market saw 17 shares decreased including BBS, CIC, HBE, HLC, HLY, ILC, L18, L43, MKV, NGC, PJC, PVE, SD8, SJC, SRA, VBH and VC6, 12 shares with no trade namely BST, CAP, CJC, CTB, HEV, HSC, QST, QTC, SVI, TBX, TPP and VTL, 13 others stood still including CCM, CTN, DHT, DST, HTP, LUT, S91, SSM, THB, TNG, TST, VCC and VTV and 135 remaining shares increased.

Some big gainers were KBC and VSP +2,000 dong per share, NTP +1,900, RCL and S99 and TC6 +1,600, SD5 and SD7 +1,400, ACB, PVI and VCS +1,300, SD9 and SDC +1,200, and BHV, NBC, PAN +1,100 dong per share.

ACB was still the bestseller with 2,962,100 shares and then BVS with 1,588,100, BCC with 1,453,100, BTS 1,306,400, KLS 1,286,200, VSG 456,900, PVS 431,500, THT 273,800, PVI 242,700, NTP 236,400, and HNM with 223,600 shares being traded.
