Vissan Company has cut the prices of processed foodstuff, including pork paste, sausages, and jambon, by 5 per cent, and canned food by 10 per cent from April 15 to May 5.

Vissan Company has cut the prices of processed foodstuff, including pork paste, sausages, and jambon, by 5 per cent, and canned food by 10 per cent from April 15 to May 5.

Bui Duy Duc, general director of Vissan, says his company has been able to procure abundant farm produce and would supply goods at a reasonable price during the lead up to the holiday period.

There is also enough supply of aquatic produce and foodstuff to HCM City's markets, he added.

Binh Dien wholesale market in District 8 received 11,630 tonnes of seafood and vegetables this week, 560 tonnes more than last week.

As a result, some seafood prices are even slightly down.
