VN Index and HNX Index both fall   2009-06-25 - Intellasia | AtpVietnam | HNX

Today June 25, VN Index dipped by 2.46 points or 0.53 percent from yesterday to close at 453.76 points with the total matching order trade of about 52.1 million shares worth 2.053 trillion dong, increasing 3.27 percent and 21.45 percent respectively in comparison with the earlier session.


Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange welcomed the new member of Bao Viet Insurance Group (coded BVH), raising the total number of listed share codes and fund certificates up to 166.

There were 101 share codes declining in June 25, with total number of share coded dipping to flooring price of 59; 48 codes hiking and 17 codes standing still.

Today, Bao Viet Insurance Group (coded BVH) listed 573,026,605 ordinary shares on STC with the par value of 10,000 dong per share. After its first transaction session, BVH shares saw a ceiling rise of 15,400 dong to 46,200 dong per share with 1,542,160 units changing hands.

Most of the large cap shares increased in today session, including STB, PVF, DPM, FPT, HPG, HAG, PPC, PVD, VNM and SSI. Meanwhile, other share codes became point-losers such as REE, SAM, SJS, ITA, TMP, VPL, VSH and HSG.

Sharing the same scenario, the HNX Index slumped by 3.27 points or 2.07 percent against the session earlier to end at 154.36 points with a total market trade of 24.191 million shares being transferred with a total value of 811.885 billion dong.
